Supper: People and Culture

About this event

Supper is a dinner for twelve people who run People and Culture. One long table, one question to start, and then it's yours.

The first one is about AI in the people function. Not the vendor version. The version where your team is already using it, the policy you wrote is being ignored, and someone on the exec has asked you for a productivity number that doesn't exist.

How it runs. We sit at 6:30, food at 7, I ask one question and then mostly shut up. Out by 9:30.

Nothing said at the table leaves it. You can use anything you hear, you just can't say who said it, and that covers who was in the room. No photos, no recap, no guest list.

The only cost is the meal. There's no charge for the seat and nobody is sponsoring this. Set menu is $65. If you're drinking there's wine on the table and that ticket is $85. Tickets close Thursday because the kitchen needs numbers.

One more thing so it isn't weird on the night. I work at Build Club and finding people with these  problems is good for me. The dinner isn't that. I won't turn the table into a sales conversation. I might message you after to say it was good to meet you, and that's all that is. There's a card if you ever want to talk about the work properly. If you don't, nothing happens.

Twelve seats. Monday 7 September, Spice Alley.
