What are you building? An AI-powered batch analysis system that downloads, extracts, and cross-references multiple ESG and sustainability reports to produce a single, professionally designed intelligence briefing for finance and development professionals.
Problem StatementESG and sustainability professionals face a growing deluge of frameworks, standards, and institutional reports — from UNEP FI and GRI to TCFD, the African Development Bank, and the IFC. Manually reading, comparing, and synthesising insights across these documents is time-intensive and error-prone, often taking analysts days of work per reporting cycle.
This project solves that problem by automating the entire pipeline: it downloads publicly available ESG reports, extracts key themes, critical metrics, strategi
c priorities, and notable policy positions from each document using parallel AI analysis, then synthesises the findings into a single, polished, web-based intelligence report. The output includes an executive summary of convergent themes, individual report breakdowns with Africa-market relevance assessments, a cross-framework comparison matrix, and actionable takeaways — all presented in a professional, shareable format designed for C-suite executives, institutional investors, and development finance practitioners.
The result is a workflow that compresses what would normally take 3–5 days of analyst time into a single automated session, while maintaining the analytical rigour and professional presentation standards expected by senior decision-makers in finance and development.
